ஆர்ஜே பாலாஜி இயக்கத்தில் சூர்யா நடித்துள்ள ‘கருப்பு’ படத்தின் படப்பிடிப்பு முடிவடைந்து விட்டது. இந்தப் படம் தீபாவளிக்கு வெளியாக இருந்தது. கிராபிக்ஸ் பணிகள் முடிவடை யாததால், அடுத்த ஆண்டு வெளியாக இருக்கிறது. இதையடுத்து சூர்யா நடிக்கும் படத்தைத் தெலுங்கு இயக்குநர் வெங்கி அட்லூரி இயக்குகிறார். இதில் மமிதா பைஜு, ரவீணா டாண்டன் உள்பட பலர் நடிக்கின்றனர். இது அவருடைய 46-வது படம். இதன் படப்பிடிப்பு நடந்து வருகிறது.

இப்படத்துக்குப் பிறகு சூர்யா நடிக்கும் அவருடைய 47-வது படத்தை மலையாள இயக்குநர் ஜீத்து மாதவன் இயக்குகிறார். இவர் ‘ரோமஞ்சம்’, ‘ஆவேஷம்’ படங் களை இயக்கியவர். குற்றப்புலனாய்வு த்ரில்லர் படமான இதில் சூர்யா போலீஸ் அதிகாரியாக நடிக்கிறார். முக்கிய வேடத்தில் ஃபஹத் பாசிலும் நஸ்ரியாவும் நடிக்க இருக்கின்றனர். இந்தப் படத்துக்காக எர்ணாகுளம் அருகே, பிரம்மாண்டமாக போலீஸ் ஸ்டேஷன் செட் அமைக்கும் பணி நடந்து வருகிறது. படப்பிடிப்பு அடுத்த மாதம் தொடங்க இருக்கிறது.
